Little river

Little River, acrylic by Hugh Charlebois

From the 24th of July to the 14th of August 2014, the Naval Marine Archive, The Canadian Collection™ is hosting an exhibition of artwork by artists from the County and Quinte region, at The Victory, 205 Main Street, Picton. The Opening is from 5-7pm on Thursday the 24th of July, everyone is welcome.

This seventh Annual Victory Art Show features artists who work in oil, acrylic and watercolour with a wide range of subject material. Many of these well known artists have received the Essroc award Artist of the Year at the Prince Edward County Fair.

Their work is truly exciting: from the brightness of Hugh Charlebois' oils featuring Algonquin Park, to Pat Busscher's inspiring local scenes. Mia Lane's work demonstrates her skill with outdoor subjects in oil and Aidan Haley has a direct approach portraying the feeling of the east coast scene. Marc Magee demonstrates his skill with rail, planes and space subjects.
