Auction at the 21st Annual Exhibition

During the 21st Annual Exhibition of the Canadian Society of Marine Artists, a number of items that have been donated by the Societies' sponsors and benefactors will be sold at auction by Manson Slik, CAI, AARE. Proceeds will be used to support the Societies' goals of preserving our marine heritage and making Canadian maritime art available to the public both locally and further afield.

Our auctioneer has suggested, particularly for those people unable to attend the show, that we invite bids ahead of time; so this is your opportunity to review many of the exciting and unique items that are for auction, currently on line at http://www.aandc.org/news/auction.html.

You may bid on these items until 12 Noon April 3rd, 2004 (Eastern Standard Time); please call (613) 476 1177 or e-mail auction@AandC.org. The final bidding and adjudication will be at the Art Exhibition and fundraising dinner in the Waring House Hall, Loyalist Parkway, Picton on Saturday 3rd April 2004 starting at 5:00 p.m.

A few tickets are still available for this remarkable 21st Annual Exhibition of the Canadian Society of Marine Artists where work by eleven artists including Yves Berubé, Harry Heine, Bo Hermanson, John M. Horton, O.K. Schenk and Ray Warren will be displayed.

Please call the Society for further details at (613) 476 1177, or the Waring House directly for tickets and reservations at (613) 476 7492.
